My keyboard smells like dog. Miss Sunny P. Fat-Ass likes to sit next to me while I blog, with her smelly little head in my lap, and of course since the fur on the top of her noggin is so soft and velvety, I can't resist constantly petting her and hence transferring her malodor to everything else I touch.
It's disgusting.
But her cuteness overrides all smelly consequences. When I refuse to indulge her neediness during the head-on-lap moments, she'll move to my feet. She puts her head on them, licks them, fondles them. Which is not as pleasant as it sounds. But sometimes she'll just put her own feet on my feet, and it's so freaking adorable that I don't even know how to deal with it.

How can you call names to such a cute face? I mean, she kisses your feet, too.

Kinda cool the way that their pack-animal instincts show up in their lives with us, eg that physical connection. I love it when my parents' Bassett sets her plump butt on my feet.

My golden retriever used to come up to me while I was laying on the couch and pet my head like I petted him. Too cute.
