Big explosion near downtown Dallas. Yikes. I live too far away to see smoke or anything (15 miles?). But holy crikey, I feel bad for people on the freeways for the rest of the day (not to mention the two burn victims). Interstates 30 and 35 are both closed, the horror of which you understand if you live anywhere near Dallas.
My brother works downtown. Can you see the smoke Rick? Have fun driving home tonight, it'll take even longer than your usual hour. You deserve it for calling me funny-lookin'.

Yeah, I can see the smoke from here even though my office is on the east end of downtown (fire is on west end).
Traffic is going to suck hard this afternoon. If 30 & 35 are still closed I have a couple of alternate routes I can take. I'll probably take the Corinth St. bridge to get across the river then cut back over to 35 by the zoo. That should get me well past the closed part of the freeway.
Yeah, sorry about that funny looking quip. I'm glad I didn't mention your smell or it probably would have resulted in the building next door blowing up.

Glad to hear all is well in "Sunny & Digger"-dom. That is one scary-looking fire!
