I can't stop following all the links and commentary about the Scott Thomas Beauchamp "controversy", and if you don't already know what I'm talking about, I really can't explain it because I have just used all my free time to read about it. Malkin helps and helps some more.
And Ace is mocking him, and I haven't been so entertained in ages. "Expand your mindthoughts." HAHAHA.
Also have you heard the latest on Lindsay Lohan's shenanigans? Apparently she's a kidnapper too! "The black kid was driving." I love it.
Oh and Michael Moore got subpoenaed. Yeah like anything will come of that. Speaking of, here's what a Canadian doctor has to say about the heavenly perfection that is socialized health care. (Summary: it sucks.)
Sorry. I know I am worthless blogger, no original content in days, deep character flaw, etc etc. I can't help it; the internet is too powerful...cannot...resist.

I just read the Ace entry you linked to and I couldn't believe my skulltesticles!
(Hmm, that probably sounds like all kinds of wrong to those who haven't read Ace's post yet...probably creating bad mindthoughts)

What gets me about all the Lib/Left sites are they are saying that Beauchamp claims is not necessarily untrue or could be true so that to be calling bullshit on him is unwarranted.
"Ignorance Is Strength" and "Freedom Is Slavery" should be the new mottos of the Democratic party.
Oh wait, they already are.

Man, isn't everyone tired of this whole Beauchamp thing now? I know I am. Ace is treating it like FOX News treats missing white girls and Anna Nichol's bloated corpse.

Rachel, I'm a Canadian, and I'm old enough to remember the medical system in Ontario prior to the advent of the Ontario medical insurance plan. I had my own private insurance policy, which gave me reasonable coverage.
However, I've never had any complaint about the government insurance plan. My medical care has been excellent whenever I've needed it, and I live out in the boonies.
The only time I had to wait for some tests was about 5 years ago. However, the fault was mine. The ER doctor wanted to admit me to the hospital, and I refused. The result was I had to wait 3 months for the tests. I later was told that, had I agreed to be admitted, the tests would have been performed that night or the next morning.
I think the author has an ax to grind. If we look hard enough, we can always find horror stories. I think that one solution would be to find a way to allow everyone to purchase private coverage, regardless of insurability. The problem is to determine an affordable premium rate for the coverage.
There's also the problem of how to deal with those who refuse to apply for coverage, and subsequently need care. I don't know how to deal with that.
I've had some limited experience with HMOs, PPOs and emergency medical care in Colorado. I sure wouldn't want to be a person without coverage while living there.
Canada, with all its faults, rarely sees a family declaring bankruptcy, as a result of the cost of medical treatment.

I don't get why everybody's all worked up. I mean, you tell the truth and blamo, they're all all freaking out.
I'm with Mikey, why won't they just leave me alone.
Can't we all just get along?????
