Is it just me, or is this an incredibly boring news day? There's nothing to blog about.
Someone needs to do something obnoxious.

In other news.....something spooky happened to me the other day. I had a dream I saw you Rachel. You were sitting in the back of a car - a car circa 1975....but the thing was - you were just a floating head (above). You were stopped at some traffic lights. You didn't say anything, just floated away with a smirk on your face, enjoying creeping people out. It was kind of disturbing. (And I am the first to admit other people's stories about dreams are dull as shit, sorry to inflict it on you.Feel free to delete this comment.)

Rachel says, "Someone needs to do something obnoxious."
So, I set my wife's opening browser page to a website on lesbian sex.
I peaked around the corner.
She was studying it.
And scrolling.
And twitching.
She just packed up and left me for a woman.
Thanks for the greaaaat idea, Rachel.
Oh well, one less bell to answer.
One less egg to fry.
One less wife to pick up after.
I'd type the last line, but all I do is cry.
Heh.

Not just a boring news day, but a boring day in general.
I don't know what it is, but it almost seems as though the universe is conspiring to bore me within an inch of my life.
For instance, I like to watch Mythbusters at 11:00am on the Discovery Channel every day (I am a jobless loser). But bizarrely, my cable went out almost at the exact MOMENT Mythbusters came on. I caught about three seconds of the opening theme and then static.
Determined to occupy myself in some way, I decided to go to Borders and take advantage of their extremely relaxed store policy by collecting a stack of books and spending a few hours reading them in the cafe. But astoundingly, my local Borders was closed. It seems they had some sort of computer crash or power outage or something so they had to close down until they could fix it.
Since I couldn't watch tv and I couldn't veg out at Borders, I decided to warm up my PC and futz around on the internet. But lo and behold, the internet in my apartment was out too!
I'm currently posting from my university computer lab, but even that isn't giving much satisfaction. Most of the blogs I usually visit are pretty dead in terms of conversation.

We didn't even have a lot of computer problems at work. I like boring days, especially when I'm on call.

Do something obnoxious?
Well, I could link a picture of my cat. That might piss off all the dog lovers around here.
Sorry, that's all I got.

abakcuh:
Yeah, that's pretty obnoxious.
But in the end it's just more political posturing from the Clown Car Congress. They have Constitutional authority to cut off funding for the war if they really wanted to. But they won't do it because they don't want to be held responsible for the bloodbath that would ensue in Iraq if they did that.

Uh, English white trash David and Victoria Beckam are coming to America so that David can try to revive his moribund soccer career.
Can't people accept that they're getting old?

Something obnoxious?
DONE!
I can't stand people who can't at least lay claim to their opinions. :-P You know, by posting their name and taking credit.
I'll be slightly disappointed if this doesn't yield any drama.

mightysamurai,
I didn't know that I could ever say with a straight face. But, get a life!!!.
Seriously. You're cable went out? Uh... that's because you can't afford cable. At this time.
Reading books fer free at Borders? That's because you can't afford to buy the books. At this time.
I don't believe in "tough love". That's a crock. But I do belive in straight shooting. And you, my friend, need some serious straight shootin'.
Unless yer certifiably unemployable due to massive cumquats in yer belltower, you van get back to work. All ya gotta do is cut the crap.
I been there.
5 cents please. ;D

Fixed it Wayne! I hadn't checked my "junk" comment folder in a while but I just did and there were about a dozen of them! duhhh. Most were because the word said like see-al-iss was in them (i can't type it cuz this one would get blocked too), all the rest were just cuz it thought they'd been published before. Anyway I unjunked them all. :)

Tuning Spork,
You really should think before you speak.
My cable didn't go out because I stopped paying the bill, it went out in my entire apartment complex. Same deal with my internet.
The reason I didn't buy anything from Borders is because I didn't want to bust my budget.
The reason I currently have no job is because it's summer time. I used to work in the university library and they don't need me over the summer.
I think you had better get down off that high horse before you fall off and break your neck.
