Believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever put clothes on Sunny. It was so cute, I'm going to do it at least weekly for the rest of her life. Or until I get bored with it.

Now try male shorts. Backward, with her tail through the fly. She'll fit right in with the latest youth style!

I see Digger back there with an expression that says ...
"Don't even think about trying that on me."
Otherwise, Sunny looks very cute, as usual.

Take that off now. Animals in clothes is just stupid.
Sunny is probably thinking to herself, she feeds me, alright I'll put up with this, for now.
For the love of all animals, it should be illegal to dress animals.
Sorry Rachael but my respect level for you just dropped several points. I thought you loved your animals??

I am not an animal lover, but I respect them enough to know that putting clothes on them is JUST SIMPLY WRONG!!!!!!!

I like the gut hanging out below the shirt. She looks like Lindsay Lohan. Only more sober. But then again, she does have a "white substance" around her nose. You never know w/ kids these days.

I think Digger looks more like he's (sorry, she?) thinking, "Oh God, please don't let that happen to me...Think hard and maybe I'll disappear into the carpet."

Does she mope like you've just beaten her and sent her to bed without food when you put clothes on her? Rowdi hangs her head and goes to her crate and mopes.

Pretty flat-chested.
[No offense.]
I like Don's idea.
I think I'll try it at work.
"Hey, check this, everybody! Look what I got stickin' outa my pants... Huh? I'm fired?!... But the Koran says, 'Verily the believer shall be wearing the shorty pants in the position of backwards. The mr. johnson of the believer it will be extending in the position of the forward as a sign that means "Eat at the Mo's" or "For the good time call Achmed's mom.'"

Hmm. Sunny is a she. And dogs are unclean animals in Islam, correct? Ok, the dog poop experiment would be extra sinful, right? So then, would it be a sin to dress her up in a burqa, or a merely a show of appropriate modesty for her?
Screw it, I'd rather fight the dhimmi that figure it out.

Clothes on animals is punishable by death in my version of utopia...but exceptions can be made, as long as it doesn't happen again.

I'd make one more exception to the "no clothes on pets" rule -- you should use both Sunny and Digger as models when you're ready to sell your "Viva la Rachelucion" T-shirts. That would rock the internets!

Whoa! You're brushing up pretty close to the Paris Hilton line.
People with cute pets and cute kids... the first time it's cute...after that not so much.
I beg you to reconsider.

OMG Lance...People are seriously staring at me at work because I'm laughing so hard!!! Stop it!
We think it's funny to put t-shirts on our dogs just because they act so funny. Hubby has put those scrunchy pony tail holders on their ankles too. Sick, eh? :)
I think Sunny looks freaking adorable!

As a child I once tried to convince our grey male pussycat that he looked rather fetching in a turquoise and pink doll's dress. He remained thoroughly unimpressed throughout the whole ordeal. Still can't imagine why.

I'm impressed, Sunny seems pretty cool with it. Normally, you'll see this subtle look that conveys multiple emotions like: Shame, confusion, annoyance, hunger for owner's face.
It's the confusion part that makes me sad because I know they're trying to figure out what they did to deserve that.
But they have their own ways of expressing displeasure...ways that tend to be so much more forward and eloquent than ours.
For instance, my recently deceased family dog, Brutus, decided to show his displeasure to my brother by shitting directly in the center of his bed. It was dead center, I was actually rather awed at his spatial skills...because I believe the statement Brutus was aiming to make was so much more poetic delivered with measured efficiency. Better, he was a half Rottweiler half Lab, so not a small dog = not a small turd.
What's the saying? "Revenge is a dish best served cold."
In this case, revenge was a dish best served steaming.

Why is it always the dog post comments that make me literally laugh out loud? (LLOL, hahaha)
Alexander, you are killing me. She does look pretty cool with it, right? I have to confess, that's probably because I was feeding her tasty Milkbone chips the whole time. She's very easy to manipulate when treats are in play.

"She does look pretty cool with it, right?"
Yeah, she's all like: "Milkbone?"
"How's this, you like? Milkbone?"
"LookhowcuteIamMilkbone?"
Just make sure you have a nice supply handy before each modelling session, otherwise you might need one of those padded arms that dog trainers use!

Animals in clothes is an abomination. That's why they have fur...so they don't NEED clothes. But she at least looks cuter than a Pomeranian dressed up to look like Snow White or something.
Also, bows on the heads of Yorkies make me want to punt said dog through a goalpost.

OK. so I am very late on this one. I have been away (not like in "put away", just away). Anyhow, clothes on dogs (or cats) is just a people hangup. If it isn't uncomfortable or restricting and they don't care then you shouldn't worry about it. I think Sunny could be a cheerleader or make big bucks as an NFL mascot. You should look into it. And then, no more full time job! And you think you love her now!
