Sunny expresses my emotions about templates, Part Two.

sunnypoop.jpg

I'm managed to install Wordpress and import all my entries to a temporary subdomain, and now I'm engaging in something even less pleasant than Rosie O'Donnell's body odor: editing the template HTML. Any-diddly-doo, this blog will stop sucking and start being awesome tomorrow or the next day, with full comment-enabled deliciousness. You can't wait!

Hardliner had a point in a previous post about not being able to sign in using Internet Explorer but being able to sign in using Firefox. I too cannot sign in using IE6 but am able to sign in using Firefox 2.0.

Firefox kicks ass. I use it, avoiding IE whenever possible, and I'm a commentin' fool!

I love when people know that's right.

*grinning broadly*

Also a Firefox user, and have never had any problems with commenting on this blog (well, other than typos and such).

Hmmm. I can't recall exactly, but I ran into that IE/Firefox pairing before. Something like IE fails to work -silently- on some kind of authorization failure - security cert? - and Firefox at least pops up an error message asking if you want to ignore that problem (and then remembers, so you usually don't see the error from that site again).

I'm using IE 7, no problems here. Typekey must like me. Really, really like me.

Same here... IE. :) But I have had issues signing in but it's been awhile back. I haven't been forced to sign in since the issues (already signed in and it's leaving me signed in). Thank goodness! =D

Well played, Sunny.

Wow, that's really a nasty error on the Internet Explorer login.

I had been using Firefox for a while now, and not having any problems, but decided to test IE6 since so many people were saying that it was causing errors. When I first tried IE, it said I was signed in, but still gave me the three lines to fill in Name, Email Address, and URL. I knew that wouldn't work, so I signed out and tried to sign in, and got the "TypeKey has encountered an error" message.

The real strange part is that when I went and deleted the cookie from this site and tried again, I didn't even get to the page to enter my username and password. It just gave me that error right after I clicked "Sign In".
