Primo’s face.

You’d think he was being murdered by Firefly, brutally murdered. This is why I take videos of them playing too, as evidence that he puts her on the ground as often as he likes, and in fact he taunts her into chasing him, and in further fact he loves every moment of it because who’s a good boy.

As long as I can remember people have said, “If there is such a thing as reincarnation, we want to come back as one of your ‘dogs.” Perhaps. Or maybe you want R & R

Where is the rest of my comment?!!! It is gone!!!!!!!!!

“R & R” as in “Rachel and Rupert – not his real name.” And then I said I had moved on. Found a mistreated horse this winter. Broke my heart. He isn’t mine. [Yet!] A friend told me a horse is just a great big dog with hard paws. [Really big dog with really hard paws!!!]

Don’t know what I did. My original comment is gone. Bless you Rachel and Rupert – not his real name – for giving Primo and Firefly the home of their dreams. ALL animals should live like this. Just my opinion…

I usually back off when dogs show me their choppers like Primo is doing in those pictures.

It just occurred to me looking at these pictures that Primo is just expressing his Italian side. Very expressive, no?

  5. Maybe I’m a kook but I laugh when our shih-tzu starts making the bug-eyed, open-mouthed face. For one thing, I know she’s playing when she does it. (It’s like when we chase toddlers and say stuff like “I’m gonna get you!” while they squeal for glee.) For another, she looks hilarious waving her open mouth in the air – not to grab your hand, but to stick the side of her head AGAINST your hand, where her teeth can’t do anything.

You have two beautiful, expressive, happy doggies! They brighten my day.
