You like being bossed around, don’t you?
Since I give you such unerringly awesome blogging, at least 10% of the time anyway, it is your duty to either give me all your money or, alternatively, to give me feedback as I redesign my blog this weekend.
It is Saturday morning, 10 a.m. I’m about to test drive a new Wordpress theme and it’s gonna look fucked up for most of the day. If you are bored enough (trust me, I’ve seen the internet today and YOU ARE bored enough, unless you’re one of those freaks who likes to “go outside” and “do things” or “spend time with family”), then leave me comments telling me what you like or hate about what I’m doing with colors and layout and all that happy horseshit.
This is your chance to even tell me what you hate about my blog as it has been. Design, that is! Not content. I already know what you hate about the content.
Don’t worry about pointing out formatting issues like something bulging out of the sidebar. I know about those sorts of things and will be fixing them but it takes time.
And the banner will be up by the end of the day; I have to make a new one. You can live without bonnetted Sunny for a few hours, I know I can.
Is there anything I don’t have on here that you want? Anything I do have that you hate?
I finally supplied an RSS feed, and I can see that about 400 people are totally digging that, which pleases me even though it cuts down on my actual traffic and therefore diminishes my ad revenue but whatever. I am a giver. I keep telling you that.
I’ll also be making an FAQ page. Now’s the time to frequently ask me questions.
P.S. The orange and gray are NOT my colors; they’re just the default colors for this theme, which I am changing.
UPDATE: I can’t take it anymore. HTML and CSS and template-this and template-that…I want to kill myself.
It’s still not done and I still want feedback. I don’t know if I like sidebars on each side, and I still gotta format their look, too.
Thanks soooo much for the help today. I’ll finish tomorrow.

I’m the first! The first I tell you! The first!
Oh Sweet baby jesus I’m in a frenzy!!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:04 amESTM’dear, please change the font color in blockquotes…it’s way too light and my eyes are way too astigmatic to read it unless I highlight it with the mouse.
Thanks
March 8th, 2008 at 11:05 amESTMore clowns, please. More clowns. I beg you.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:07 amESTI don’t know Rachel, I like the color scheme, and I don’t miss the Sunny pic as much as I miss the Young Rachel pic.
I’ll have to see it more complete.
In the mean time, pleeeease post the Obama video.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:07 amESToh and I like these warm colors that you have now. It looks like a tobacco shop, which is always nice. You can grab a cup of coffee and feel *really* smart.
keep it up, Rach!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:07 amESTWell I am slightly bored but thats only because my poker tourney is on break. I do like the color scheme, reminds me of fall and football which is never a bad combination. I am so new to blogs however that I don’t feel I have the knowledge to critique what looks bad or what I dislike. I’ll just accept it as it is, especially if the content makes me laugh out loud as yours often does.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:13 amESTAaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, my eyes! Put it back, put it back!!!!!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:16 amESTHmmm, I think I’ll give you the money.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:17 amESTLose the “Cleveland Browns” color scheme. It’s more like “Taking the Cleveland Browns the Super Bowl.”
You know you want to go with royal purple and gold. C’mon, Rachel. Back to your Minnie roots. Skol Vikings!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:22 amESTno orange and black colors! halloween is meant for one day only and stuff like that. bring back the cool white and blue! and your name needs to be big again and you need to have that cool phrase that was right under your name. uhhhh…i’ll update on what i think you should do because my opinion is SOOO important. blah blah blah. but no orange, black colors. or maybe it’s one of those things that “i’ll get used to.” hmmmm.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:23 amESTThough I love RSS, I make it a point to open the site itself from the Google Reader at least once or twice a day. Some sites allow you to publish just an excerpt via RSS to entice readers to come in on their own; my own system (Drupal) does this, but since I don’t care about ad revenue (don’t have any ads) but DO care about bandwidth (since I pay by the gigabyte), I set mine to full feed. The only thing that doesn’t feed on mine are pictures–a small price to pay.
And yeah, I actually like the colors.
Sig
March 8th, 2008 at 11:23 amESTAnd if you must have a suggestion …um, some variation of Texas flag or Dallas Cowboys logo with your little girl face on it would be cool.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:24 amESTRemember your poll about who reads you? There are a lot of us aging boomers - so I’m requesting a slightly larger font size and/or different font. The “preview” font is much easier to read than the acutal submitted “comments”
I’m resisting admitting that I’m old enough where I either need to have reading glasses stationed all over the house - or use the “view” “text size” “increase” option.
I’m not an “orange” person - but it looks like I’m in the minority there. Cant wait to see bonnetted Sunny back again.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:25 amESToo oo oo! FAQs! i’ve always wanted to know more about the rachel. what was the rachel like as a kid? as a teenager? what funny hijinks did her sisters and brother put upon her?
March 8th, 2008 at 11:26 amESTI love the new color scheme. I’m a Browns fan, and my high school had orange and black. It’s all good for me.
Of course, my taste is tarnished by the fact that I’m red/green colorblind…but there you have it.
Font sizes are no problem now…got me some of those old fart bifocal things now.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:28 amESTOrange? Halloween? Got candy?
March 8th, 2008 at 11:33 amESTOh, yeah, please feel free to experiment with other color schemes! Just don’t create one with a black background and white lettering. It hurts just thinking about that.
Now, I’m off to “go out to the garage” and “do things.”
March 8th, 2008 at 11:34 amESTUm…where the hell am I!?!?!
It’s very ……. Industrial.
But I don’t care what it looks like as long as you blog a lot!!!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:34 amESTThe google ads image in between “Categories” and “Blogroll” is a bit wider than the enclosing column.
This makes the image cover the left edge of the adjacent user comment boxes.
I have seen this effect with opera and firefox.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:36 amESTHey, it’s your house, decorate how you will. I like the serif fonts, more readable.
I do miss the command at the top of the comments routine. It always compelled me, even when I felt that nothing I had to say would contribute to the quality of your blog.
“You leave a comment! Do it now!” just has all the warmth of the Happy Feet nails and tanning salon near here.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:38 amESTHoly crapoli! About 10 comments posted at once. Sheeeiit, this baby zoooms!
March 8th, 2008 at 11:38 amESTOh, crap, the 45-minute-editing-window function has disappeared. Please DO bring that back.
What I wanted to add was a gentle hint to NOT bring back that God-awful Obama/Nuremberg Rally clip. It gave me diarrhea. But then I don’t have to watch it again.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:39 amESTStupid me!
Just saw you stated: “Don’t worry about pointing out formatting issues like something bulging out of the sidebar.”
So forget about it. And me. Sorry.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:40 amESTNot crazy about the burnt orange - reminds me of the 70’s. I also miss the young rachel picture - work that in somewhere. I’d like to see a Best of Rachel on a sidebar. Maybe do another poll to figure out best from the past - top ten make the list, and then create a check box from now on, on each new post, for a Best Of vote, so the list is always full of classics, but doesn’t get stale. It would be a good way for new readers to get a feel for the best the site has to offer, without reading through all the archives.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:55 amESTLoving the warm colors.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:55 amESTSort of like coming home & finding that your house has been redecorated. Disorienting. Lonely.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:55 amESTOh, well. Change.
Love the posts. Haven’t commented before but here goes. The layout is a bit uneven - too many items in the left column. Moving either the ads or the categories and the tip jar/ donations to the right column and center-justifying the Home, About, and FAQ links would give you a more balanced look.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:56 amEST…and I like the way you’ve done every other comment white/gray and boxed.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:57 amESTRachel– for some reason, your banner re-directs to your site, and not The Nose On Your Face, as we had discussed. Well, I sent you an email with the suggestion, and assumed silence meant consent.
And I assume the clowns are in the works. For the love of God, please be working on the clowns.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:58 amESTWow, you are really brave throwing open your new layout for general comments. (You do realize that every single reader is going to have a different suggestion, right?) Okay, you asked for it:
1. Are there two blogrolls because you’re trying to decide which side to put it on? I vote for the lower left column.
2. Tip jar in the upper right will draw more attention. Just sayin’.
3. I like the archives on the right, too, about mid page, but maybe that’s just because I’m used to looking for it there.
4. Not too crazy for the early 70s color scheme. It’s a little too sedate for your ebullient personality.
5. The light tan background makes the (dark brown?) type look fuzzy. Looks great on print pieces but it’s harder to read things on the web because the type rendering is not as crisp as print. After the survey results that showed so many of your readers are … ahem … of a certain age, black type would give them less legibility problems. The orange titles against the light tan is just wrong. Letter point-size looks good — big enough to read, but not so big it looks awkward.
6. Although it’s pretty subtle, the faux leather top banner just doesn’t work for me. It’s too tobacco shoppe and I hate faux image effects. (One of the guiding rules of the graphics trade is that the use of Photoshop should never be obvious.)
7. Just noticed there are no longer any formating buttons for the comments. Is that just temporary?
8. The center (main) column is great — just the right width.
9. And finally, where are the doggie pix? We really need them.
I hope you’ll feel free to ignore any or all of my comments. You’ll probably get just as many or more that say the exact opposite. By the way, none of this is criticism. Most people have no idea how hard it is to make a page or how many factors need to be adjusted. You’ve done a great job, and these are just suggestions for tweaking it. Happy designing! =)
March 8th, 2008 at 11:59 amESTYour timestamp algorithm may have a problem. I posted this at 10:00 PDT.
March 8th, 2008 at 12:00 pmESTI like the way the comments alternate grey and white, very easy to tell one comment from another.
Someone else said it, but I’ll repeat it: it feels very industrial. I liked the blue better.
March 8th, 2008 at 12:06 pmESTAs long as you keep blogging I’ll put up with fushia, day-glow yellow, and neon green if I have to.
That said, the Browns colors… preferably not. I seem to be in the minority though, so whatever.
This new layout feels… almost academic journal-ish. Then again, maybe I just don’t like change (or hope).
This comment has become increasingly worthless, so I’ll shut my yap now.
March 8th, 2008 at 12:12 pmESTI had to scroll down past the archives on the left before the middle of the page showed anything other than blank space. That caused me a moment of panic, but once I realized you hadn’t deleted yourself while trying to spruce up the website I was happy. It’s such a boring day here that the highlight will be checking back in to see the progress. Good luck….
March 8th, 2008 at 12:17 pmESTYou did this just to freak us out, didn’t you, you little devil;))) I am all for Rachel 4 times a day and will pay money to see it. Just no clowns!!They are evvviiiiillll.!!!!!
March 8th, 2008 at 12:47 pmESTCleveland Browns skin? Dunno about this. Now make it 49er Red & Gold and I’m sold!
March 8th, 2008 at 12:50 pmESTYou guys are awesome.
Be sure to refresh your browser - I’ve already changed the colors.
March 8th, 2008 at 12:51 pmESTI don’t care about the look. I come here for your commentary and the comments that spring from that.
As long as you keep blogging, I’;; keep comeing back.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:13 pmESTWere you on Wordpress before? (I thought you were a MovableType girl!).
In any event, now that we know you want to make some money off of the blog, here’s a Wordpress plugin that’ll make your SEO easycheezyperfect and possibly materialize tasty pork right before Sunny’s eyes.
You’ll weep — weep, I tell you!
Checkit: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/
I’m not the developer or anything — just a guy who loves your blog and who used the plugin on his own blog to marvelous effect.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:13 pmESTMore reds. Red is the color of war. Plus, what’s with this “wholesome and socially redeeming” crap in your banner?? I still have a plan to kill you should we ever meet.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:15 pmESTI am sorry i dont like it at the moment maybe its because im old but i prefured the old sight will come back in a week or so and see what its like keep at it,TTFN.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:21 pmESTThere’s that face we love! Awesome.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:40 pmESTSee, cuz there’s this cute little face dropping f-bombs. You see the beauty of it…
March 8th, 2008 at 1:41 pmESTLooks like ya got it all fixed up now. I always liked your baby picture. Though you should photoshop some devil horns and a goatee on there. Down turned eyebrows and fangs, maybe. For most days.
I guess sometimes you could photoshop a halo over your melon on those other days when you’re being oh-so-sweet.
I’ll like your blog no matter what it looks like. You should just do-what-ya-gotta-do to streamline your efforts and to increase revenue.
I like.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:43 pmESTI’d like to see a ‘Cowbell Button.’ Really, complete with a total surprise when pressed.
March 8th, 2008 at 1:55 pmESTThe blue and green are kind of attention whores mixed together like that. They are distracting. I think the page would probably look better if those colors were muted some (imagine adding a few layers of see through grey, for example). It would make the articles stand out more, be easier to read.
In my lowly opinion that is. I didn’t read the rest of the comment thread, so who knows, maybe those colors are a direct result of other peoples opinion, in which case I humbly beg not to be stoned ;).
March 8th, 2008 at 1:55 pmESTI like the alternating colors of individual comments. Makes them a lot easier to pick one out of the thread.
March 8th, 2008 at 2:06 pmESTI kind of LIKED the “leave a comment, do it now!”. Rachel, you’re a complete loon…but that’s why I love you (as much as you can love someone on the innernets, anyway…..)
March 8th, 2008 at 2:18 pmESTwhat does “socially redeeming” mean?
I’m sorry, I’m portuguese and I’d like i to be translated like I was a 6 year old.
Thank you
March 8th, 2008 at 2:38 pmESTRachel, try this Plugin, it’s neat for redisigns…
Theme Test Drive
March 8th, 2008 at 2:44 pmESTI highly approve of the green and blue scheme - it’s a big improvement over this morning’s eye-scrunching experiment in orange.
March 8th, 2008 at 2:48 pmESTLOVE the blue and green.
I miss the “You leave a comment” thing too. It was part of what made it so very you.
March 8th, 2008 at 2:51 pmESTRachel, as one of the middle age neolithics who still prefer printed word over electronic display,I’d love to see you incorporate the “printer friendly” coding now used at Misha’s site (click on the symbols at the top of each post to see what I mean).
March 8th, 2008 at 2:59 pmESTrachel,
i want to reach into the screen and pinch your cheeks. that picture is so cute! and yay, no orange and black. it was wearing on my eyes because i am SO very delicate and shit.
thanks,
March 8th, 2008 at 3:16 pmESTjjs
your post’s title is something i would most likely hear during S&M. with a riding crop and an outrageous leather getup. i had to say it. it would be a waste not to.
March 8th, 2008 at 3:22 pmESTI’d like to see you use the image that is on your CafePress swag. The slogan isn’t all that bad, either

Also, should I be allowed to embed images in comments? Maybe once I post this it’ll disappear; I’m currently seeing it in previews.
March 8th, 2008 at 3:23 pmESTAlso, you may want to disable comments on your ‘About’ and ‘FAQ’ pages… unless you desire scruffy nerf herders questioning your authoritai.
March 8th, 2008 at 3:26 pmESTYikes! I leave one critical comment, and you go detonate the place. (And BTW, I hope you took that as the constructive feedback it was intended to be.)
I like the New Look. Not that there was anything wrong with the Old Look — it’s just good to redecorate from time to time. Keeps it fresh.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:09 pmESTRachel,
Date request. No, not that kind. When the date is formatted like 08-06-07 it’s impossible to tell which field is which, and there are many conventions. A new standard I’ve seen emerge since Y2K, which I quite like, is this: 2008-03-08. This appeals to my inner (and outer, and generally pervasive) geek because it follows the same rule we use for numbers in general: most significant digit first. So when you see a timestamp like 2008-03-08@14:17:22 it’s completely clear what you mean. Better still, any two timestamps in this format will sort lexicographically in the same order they occurred temporally.
So, that’s my one format request: 2008-03-08.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:20 pmESTI’ve been using my rss reader to watch your site since you started blogging again and I found you, but I do usually go ahead and open the site in a browser. The photos look better that way.
Speaking of which since Sunny is no longer in the banner at the top maybe you could add a dog photo in one of the sidebars something that you could change once in awhile. I do enjoy the dog pics.
Perhaps a dog pic of the week or something. It is an art and you do have the touch.
Color scheme looks good. I prefer dark foreground and light background on the text areas makes it easier to read. Won’t comment on fonts because they change depending on what browser I happen to be using at the moment. Also the comments alternating background color works well.
Bottom line, looks good.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:22 pmESTI dunno, Jeff.
The date screams March 8th,2008 to me.
or 081622MAR08 in military date-time-group terms, which would be just fine to me.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:25 pmESTI think she’s introducing the Y2K bug again with that two-digit year.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:26 pmESTMuch better, Rachel Luksisez.
However, if you don’t mind my suggestion…
Change “socially remdeeming” to “But no socially redeeming qualities.”
Or,
Applecheeked destroyer of worlds
Future ruler of the known world. This would be the time to get on my good side.
Applecheeked but vengeful.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:32 pmESTLooks fine. Don’t change a thing. Of course I’m one of those people who won’t even change the background of their myspace profile and give it a scrapbook-gone-mad bender look.
March 8th, 2008 at 4:35 pmESTIs it bad to say I preferred the old one…?
March 8th, 2008 at 5:08 pmESTNow this is Change I can believe in!
So happy to see li’l Rachel again.
Color scheme of the moment is blue & brown; OK but I bet you’ll think of something super-fantastic soon.
Layout of the moment has no posts in the center until you get past the bottom of all the stuff on the right.
I’m glad to see the message encouraging comments, but the typeface doesn’t seem as charmingly bossy as before.
Fine stuff overall. Make big money, rule the world before January.
March 8th, 2008 at 5:31 pmESTRACHEL! Your site doesn’t work in a mobile format anymore. I can’t read you on my phone. That’s disastrous! I tried to pull up your site today while killin’ time out at the ball fields and I immediately guessed you were in the middle of a site overhaul because I could see nuthin’ but your sidebars. And who cares about sidebars when we can’t see your content???!
Oh….
And bring back that 45-minute edit - that was a durn sweet function. And comment formatting. Must-have.
March 8th, 2008 at 5:40 pmESTCosmo,
Rock on!! Purple and gold–that’s what I’m talking about! Skol Vikings!
BTW–the new set-up is pretty spiff. I would like to see the Rachelution pic, tho–it’s pretty good.
March 8th, 2008 at 5:46 pmESTI like the new comment colors..um thats it really.
March 8th, 2008 at 5:51 pmESTLiked the blue personally but hey whatever makes YOU happy.
Could give some dark solids a whirl..purple maybe?
And totally need some Sunny pics again..its just wrong her not bein there…oh and and I can’t make my text do stuff..bold or italic..anywho..seriously who goes out and does stuff on the weekend?pffft
Too much white. I like the sidebars on each side. Too round (the round fade from the post column to each sidebar is all very Mac/iTunes). I like the alternating colors in the comments. The brown fade on the sidebars fades down to kinda pinkish, and that kinda looks… princessy.
And don’t worry about people reading through a feed-reader. I come here more through my feedreader, because I still can’t comment without clicking over. I read the article in Bloglines, then I click over to comment. Otherwise I’d just come once a day. The feedreader keeps me up on if you post again.
March 8th, 2008 at 5:55 pmESTRachel,
I agree with jamfish: use the Viva La Rachelution pic and slogan. That would be cool!
March 8th, 2008 at 6:30 pmESTI very much like the format but do not like the colors. since you are a regal gal have you considered red and purple - royal colors.
Your friend
Bert
March 8th, 2008 at 7:46 pmESTHi Rachel
Love the new look and your baby pic was there the first few million times I logged on……. but as cute as you are I want Sunny!
March 8th, 2008 at 8:08 pmESTCan we upload photos? ‘Cause I found a picture of a Persian cat.
Gah! The orange type on the gray preview background is unreadable.
I also vote for slightly larger type in general, although I can enlarge it in my browser if need be.
March 8th, 2008 at 8:08 pmESTI liked the old one better. It felt good coming to it. Are the orange highlights going to stay? They suck.
March 8th, 2008 at 8:31 pmESTThis just doesn’t feel like home.
I’ll also be making an FAQ page. Now’s the time to frequently ask me questions.
Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
March 8th, 2008 at 8:54 pmESTI like it. Its easy on my eyes.
Its good to see the floating young-Rachel head back on guard.
March 8th, 2008 at 9:21 pmESTI think your site is more easy reading with the new design, that’s hard to define, but I know it when I see it…
March 8th, 2008 at 9:33 pmESTI liked it the way it was before. But both my shrink and my parole officer tell me that I fear change. And laws.
Also, and I’m just speculating about an hypothesis, but my studies of the Internets leads me to the conclusion that the peoples really like spanking. They credit card like spanking… so, you know… speculation about hypotheses and all… and whatnot.
Ben
P.S. Just saying.
March 8th, 2008 at 9:58 pmESTBaby head Rachel is back! Yeah!!!
How’s Sunny’s Presidential campaign?
March 8th, 2008 at 10:11 pmESTSigh…my moment of intarweb glory has passed..Ms.Lucas has replaced her slogan.
March 8th, 2008 at 10:16 pmESTOn the brighter side, I always had a fondness for that photo, especially when it was accompanied by the old slogan (IIRC) “Piquance, Impudence, Ordnance”.
Like they said about the older ‘Soapbox, Ballot box, Ammo box” - Apply In That Order.
It looks nice, Rachel.
Wish I were smart ’nuff to do stuff like that.
March 8th, 2008 at 10:27 pmESTHow about moving the Archives to the right column, below Categories, where they’d be more obvious and accessible?
And this is admittedly totally OCD, but maybe the blogroll could be alphabetized??
The alternating colors for the comments helps readability; thanks!
And I like that shade of blue in your banner. Purrrty.
March 8th, 2008 at 10:40 pmESTW teh F!
I clicked on the face of that applecheeked kid at the top, and it took me here!
http://plaza.ufl.edu/bigjay/Vision%20of%20Hell.jpg
I dunno about the direction this here blog joint of Rakel Luksisez is taking.
And the peanuts are stale.
Of course, back home in Codpiece Falls, LA, we were too poor to afford peanuts.
So when we went to the theater—which we were too poor to go to, so we just sat under a tree and watched Granny Suggins and Uncle Thibodaux put on Shakespeare plays using their dentures as hand-puppet actors—we would bring sacks of gravel, and pretend that they wuz peanuts.
March 8th, 2008 at 11:22 pmESTRachel,
There’s a Wordpress plugin “Theme Test Drive” that works great for when you need to tweak stuff. Only YOU (and anyone else with admin privileges) will see what you’re doing–you can even test drive entirely different themes and readers won’t see a thing while you’re tweaking.
The only recommendation I’d make is to put the blogroll on the right side if you’re using Blogrolling, just so you’ll have the external scripts load last. Same with Sitemeter–and you could even put that in the footer.php file. Just something to consider, anyway–it’s not like there’s a problem right now with them where they are.
If you need any help with anything, let me know, okay? I can hook you up with some great plugins, too.
March 9th, 2008 at 3:54 amESTBTW, I like the color scheme. I’ve been having a blue & brown fixation for the last few months for some reason, so it makes me happy! ;P
March 9th, 2008 at 3:56 amESTRachel - it’s socially redeeming when you take it to liberal asshats and assclowns. That’s what you do best, and do it with both shotgun barrels.
March 9th, 2008 at 3:15 amESTMoney changes everything. We’ll deal with it.
March 9th, 2008 at 4:49 amESTThere’s that damned floating head again…
March 9th, 2008 at 7:14 amESTI will echo A Recovering Liberals Idea of an alphabetized blogroll - would be very helpful. Coming back to it this morning with eyes that have adjusted, I still really like the alternating comments boxes. I know some don’t like the orange on gray ones - maybe a nice blue would work - but for sure keep the rest of that idea. I would love to see just a little permanent something in memory of Digger. Sunny is wonderful, but Digger had me at Hello.
March 9th, 2008 at 7:51 amESTI think it would add a touch of class to post a few pictures of yourself every week. How about one of you in a gold bikini sitting in front of Jabba the Hut? That would be Awesome! Or you in a bikini and fur hat riding a snowmobile. Always tasteful! Maybe for a change you could post one of you in a bikini doing some rock climbing? Anyhoo…I’ve got plenty more classy ideas if you need my help.

Whenever I see someone walking around with a blue slacks and a brown shirt, I secretly want to trip them or push them down a small flight of stairs.
Blue and Brown are one of the rare color combintations that doesn’t go together.
Others, Orange and Green, Red and Green ( except Christmas) Brown and Purple, Brown and Yellow( looks like dirty underwear)
Brown goes well with green, black, or orange.

Rachel, 3 min ago when I opened your blog, I received a security warning that paypal connection on your site comes from an unknown source (api.paypal or something similar) and was advised to notify the administrator.
Which I just did.

March 9th, 2008 at 10:44 amESTpara…I gotta disagree. Dark brown and Turquoise are totally awesome together. Navy Blue and Black on the other hand - make me want to scratch my eyes out.
Although I’m now wearing dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt…hmmm…
I love the “You leave a comment. Do it now.” LOVE it!

I really like the text in center of the page, I’m getting to be an old fart and I have my browser zoomed to 125% and this just makes it easier to zoom even farther if I need to.
Colors? Who gives a shit about or even notices the colors? Any men who commented on color should be banned for life…my opinion.
March 9th, 2008 at 11:04 amESTSpiral, spoken like an old fart:)
As a photogrpaher, I deal with color every day. In fact , I spend more time in front of a computer fixing color shifts than I do shooting. I guess I’m just hyper-aware of color temps.
Still, it was kinda Metrosexual of me to mention clothing colors, and I promise to go do something really “guy-ish” if you promise to not support my banishment.
…*saunters of to go kill a squirrel or cat……or ham sandwich.*
