Why isn’t THIS guy running for office?

Many people have sent me links to some YouTube videos by a dude named Alfonzo Rachel. Which is some sort of awesome last name by the way, but he goes by Zo. I was always too busy to watch them, but when Treacher goes and posts one, I’m compelled to watch, and HOLY SHIT PEOPLE. I think I might have my write-in candidate.

I don’t know if there are transcripts of his videos anywhere, but if there aren’t, I’ll personally do it because I know some of you can’t watch videos since you’re on this weird shit called “dial-up”. This man has some of the most solid arguments that I’ve seen in this entire election cycle, and I’m not joking. He’s not a comedian and his videos aren’t jokes; he’s someone who’s pissed off about being expected to toe the liberal line and he backs up his points with actual facts. Which is a breath of fresh, fresh air.
UPDATE: Okay, I took a little break from work to try to transcribe some of Zo, but you know, it is REALLY HARD to transcribe that kind of conversational speaking. Took me 10 minutes to do about 30 seconds of his video.
UPDATE WITHIN AN UPDATE: There is someone out there far more capable than me, and her name is Sharon and she has a fabulous blog, and I think I’m in love with her. She saw the video about a week ago, and has transcribed it, and emailed it to me this evening. I took out the first bit, which you MUST watch to truly appreciate, and cut it right to the part where he gets down to bidness. And it’s long, so it’s below the fold. And I bolded my favorite parts, which seriously, McCain should be using in ads. Here you go. Thank you, Sharon.
Look, y’all. I’m a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, tax-cuttin’ Christian conservative, yada, yada, yada. Yo, y’all, the policies I support, Obama does not. That’s why I’m not voting for him. Period. Doesn’t have anything to do with him being black. Ain’t no Uncle Tom syndrome going on here or anything like that.
Abortion ain’t a racial issue. Even though in America abortion was founded in bigotry. Shoot, they got Planned Parenthood set up in black neighborhoods like spider webs. Nonetheless, abortion kills any child that comes its way. Taxes aren’t a black or a white issue. The Second Amendment ain’t a black or a white issue. Traditional marriage isn’t a black or a white issue. These are not issues that any ethnic group can lay claim to.
Now I know what some of y’all are saying. Y’all are probably saying “Oh, just ‘cause he got money and he one of the rich folks, he thinks he’s a Republican now.” Man, it’s hilarious that I get accused of being rich just because I’m a Republican. Oprah’s rich, she’s not a Republican. Diddy’s rich, Ludacris is rich, Kanye’s rich – how come ya’ll don’t complain about them being rich? Shoot, y’all. I been driving the same Ford Ranger since 2001.
And what have these rich Black Democrats done for you, anyway? Have they come into your community and done anything for you? Chances are good that the closest Ludacris has been to your neighborhood is through your television set. Ludacris is in your TV right now helping a little girl get pregnant.
‘Cause as far as Luda is concerned, she’s a ‘ho. And most of the other little boys who listen to Luda think she’s a ‘ho, too. Now, chances are that little girl is going to end up at Planned Parenthood or she’s going to end up raising that little kid on her own. ‘Cause those little boys who listen to Luda want to be like Luda. And you can’t be tied down by one woman. So go complain to them about their wealth because I ain’t the one.
Now let’s put an end to this myth that the Democrat Party is the party of the working class. “We’re the party of the working class.” Y’all know good and well that a great percentage of your voter base are Welfare recipients. Ask anybody who pulls a Welfare check. Y’all, if they vote at all, they vote Democrat. Now look, y’all. Everybody needs a hand at some point. We Republicans understand that at some point in everybody’s life, somebody needs a hand. But you got folks that live off handouts. That’s weak, y’all.
Now, I’ve had people accusing me of being a Republican because I’m the product of some right-wing propaganda machine. And I’m pretty sure they’re gonna continue with that because I’m voting for McCain and Palin.
Number one, what right-wing propaganda machine? Don’t y’all know that there’s more money and more propaganda in being against America, against the war and against Bush?
Please allow me to enlighten you to something. My momma is a Democrat. She was raised with 16 siblings. And all of her siblings are Democrats. All the cousins that I know about, Democrats. Now this is just my momma’s side. I got a big family. My father is also a Democrat. He was raised with seven other siblings. All of them, Democrats. All my cousins, the ones that I know about, all Democrats. I got a big family. I come from a huge family of Democrats. That’s brain washing level number one.
I live in California. Just about the most liberal state in the union. I’m surrounded by liberals. Brain washing level number two. I’m in a state loaded with Democrats.
For 16-plus years I have learned from the public school system. A system that is set on indoctrinating our children with liberalism. Brain washing level number three. Our public school system that is run by the liberal Democrat party. And has been for decades.
Y’all, I was raised on Sesame Street and I love Sesame Street, but it’s a liberal show. I’m a musician. I’ve played in bands in Hollywood. And everybody knows that the entertainment industry and the news industry is dominated by liberals.
Now the things that I just mentioned constitute a Goliath-sized brain washing machine.
But I escaped the plantation. You haven’t.
You’ve got these liberals who are constantly accusing me of being a product of some right-wing propaganda machine or a right-wing propagandist myself, yet despite their constant accusation, they have yet to tell me who this right-wind propaganda machine is that I’m submitted to. You can’t tell me who I’m submitted to. I can tell you who you’re submitted to. I just told you. And if you want to go into real detail as far as who the real propaganda machine is, hey, please go watch my video of the O-Team. I’m a free thinker, y’all. It’s you liberals who are submitted to pop culture conformity.
So let it be known, y’all, the powers that be don’t have me. They got you. They have been farming your votes for decades. For you are ballot cattle for the Democrat Party. It keeps their livestock fat with a healthy dose of pandering. Here’s some feed for your victim mentality. Here’s some feed to keep your prejudice against the Republicans so you’ll vote against them and vote Democrat instead. Here’s some feed to stimulate your animosity against the rich as if a poor person can give you a job. Democrats keep that livestock fat with them Welfare checks and food stamps. And here the dependents come right on time on the 1st and the 15th, like chickens running out to the yard waiting to peck that feed. Heeeere sucker, sucker, sucker, sucker.
Y’all, they got you. They been havin’ you. The system that you hate so much is the very system that you keep giving power to. And right now, Obama is the face of that power. And this power is enforced by many agents y’all. From Keith Olberman to Diddy. From Jon Stewart to Barbara Walters.It pains me to see y’all still on the plantation with chains on your brain. I escaped, y’all. And I’m trying to come back and pick the lock on them shackles that you still have on you. You know, when people put crabs in a bucket, they don’t have to put a lid on it. You know why? ‘Cause if a crab tries to crawl out, another crab’ll grab it and pull it back down there with it. And that’s what liberals are like. You got a brother that tries to climb out of the bucket and you got another hater that’ll pull him right back into that bucket. Back into that bucket of blame and victimhood.
These same liberal victims say stuff like “Oh McCain doesn’t know what it’s like to go through the pain that we go through.” But in your selfishness, you forget that it’s the other way around. You have no idea of the pain that John McCain went through. The price that John McCain paid for his country you couldn’t even pay the taxes on. Yeah, John McCain knows what it’s like to be broke and broken. I’m talking everything broken except for his spirit. Now, do I think that John McCain is a dirty dog for leaving his wife? Yeah, I do. For sickness and in health, for richer for poorer. Till death, John.
I just don’t know what to think about the Democrat Party who accuses us conservatives of being judgmental. Yet they sit in judgment of us all the time. If you look in the dictionary and you look up conservatism or look up Christianity, neither one of them are synonymous with being perfect. Even when Bill Clinton was cheating on his wife, no conservative thought that he should be impeached because of that. In spite of what the media tried to make you think. The reason why he faced impeachment, y’all, is because he lied about it in court. It don’t matter what you lie about. You could lie about stealing the last spoonful of peanut butter. You don’t lie about it in court. And what do y’all care that John McCain left his wife? Your party is the one responsible for the normality of the single mom. You got liberals who feel that a child should be put to death if it were to be wheelchair bound, yet they’re mad at McCain because he left his wife?
Now what are liberals trying to say now that McCain is afraid to face Obama in the debates? Y’all, McCain faced five years of torture. He ain’t afraid to face Obama in the debate.
My point is just this, y’all. Your perspective from your seat of judgment is just very skewed.
I’ll give you another example. Your party is the party that wants to make all drug use legal. Obama has made it very clear that he experimented with drugs. From marijuana to cocaine. But y’all forgive Obama like it ain’t no thang. But y’all want to hold a DUI against George Bush that he got 25+ years ago. You’re the party that glorifies drug use. You’re the party that looks up to people that get loaded and write songs. You’re the party that celebrates drunken rebellion. George Bush should be your hero.
These Hollywood liberals talk about how much they hate war and guns so much. But despite how much they hate war and guns, hey try this. The next time you go into a video store, I want you to take a good look at all the covers of the DVD boxes. And see if you don’t see those same Hollywood liberals posing on the front with a gun in their hand. They talk about how much they hate war and there’s never a good excuse for it and war is wrong and all that sort of stuff but they love to make war look cool on the screen, don’t they? They’ll try to tell you that torture is wrong and then they’ll put out a movie like “V” where Natalie Portman actually becomes enlightened from torture and not only that, but she falls in love with the person who was torturing her. Can y’all see what I’m talking about when I say that these liberals are really backwards?
You know, things like kill the innocent child in the womb but save the guilty murderer.
Now Matt Damon, I think you should be more gracious towards Sarah Palin because if she would have known you back in the day and known that your prognosis would have made you the mental handicapped that you are today, she still would have even supported your right to live.
And Pamela Anderson? Girl, you can’t step up to Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin’s head is packed with something real and something beautiful. While you’re packed with something fake, but arguably beautiful.
Now the sad part is that liberals are going to see me as the angry one while I’m the one coming out and saying all this stuff when they forget that they’re the ones who attacked us in the first place. Y’all, I’m defending my own. Don’t start none, won’t be none. Hey, I ain’t got nothing to say if you guys don’t attack us.
Not only do you guys attack us, but you attack us with no class. What is it with you liberals and incest, man? Not just the SNL thing, but Seth Green with robot chick and where the Bush twins are getting drunk and making out with each other. What’s up? Or Family Guy where the daughter is making out with the family dog. What? And don’t even try to compare stuff like that with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. Naw, it’s two totally different applications, y’all.
Now, I’m gonna leave y’all with this thought. Those of you who plan to vote for Obama, you’re waiting for someone to make you happy when you have the power to do it yourself right now. You liberals are supposed to be the open minded ones. Well, now’s your chance. Vote for the McCain/Palin ticket.
Seriously. I might have to write Zo in on my ballot. And this video isn’t even his best one. My personal favorite is this one called The Vote Reaper, which isn’t a monologue and is freakishly funny.

I have to remember to not watch “The View” anymore, lest I damage my vocal cords beyond repair. I need to make a T-shirt for Elizabeth to wear that says “JOY BEHR IS A C%#T”. If anyone deserves that kind of nastiness, Joy Behr does. BTW, they had Bill O’Reilly as a guest, which didn’t helped my demeaner much more.
But I digress…I was lucky that a friend of mine turned me on to Mr. Zo a couple of weeks ago and have had the opportunity to watch most of his videos. He apparently gets a lot of hits, hopefully from some that he might be able to sway into our way of thinking.
Although, at first, I was thinking that Obama supporters probably wouldn’t take the time to watch this guy because he makes too much sense. But then it hit me that because of his lighter complexion and more Caucasian-like features he is considered more acceptable in the black communities, just like dear ol’ Barry, so maybe there is a chance that a few of the Obamazombies might become turncoat. I have often felt that racism is much more apparent in the black community than anywhere else.

I’ve seen a few of his videos and I think he’s awesome. I wish he would post on this site! I do believe that one of his comments is not factual though. He says in one of his videos that MLK was a Republican. I disagree with that. MLK had some pretty liberal views and I could not find anything online that indicated he affiliated himself with the Republican party. Nevertheless, this guy is exactly what the Republican party needs. There is a perception out there that the members of the Republican party are racist, homophobic, elitist, etc. etc. All bullshit. Of course, the more exposure this man receives, the faster the media is likely to run a full fledged investigation on him. Before you know it, he’ll be crucified by the media for a parking ticket he got in 1992.

If I had paid attention to my emails, I would have called in sick and kept my daughter home from school to attend, alas, I missed it. I’m hoping she will make 1 more stop here before the campaign. After no success with YouTube, I checked MySpace video — nothing. Then I googled it to see if I could find an embed on someone’s blog, but all the embeds seem to be from YouTube and they are just blank spots on the screen as you have observed. (And as Rachel now has above!)
Is somebody effing with Alonzo or is it just too many watchers overloading the system? Does anyone know about these things?

October 22nd, 2008 at 9:09 pmWell at the risk of ruining the minor success of my earlier demotivator (and I don’t think that the crowd was ’shopped), the iconography of the Obama campaign has bugged the crap out of me because of its outright imitation - it’s the sincerest form of flattery right - of the Soviet and Cuban models.
My grandfather fought against the Bolsheviks in the early 1920s and my father passed along the intense hatred of socialism (now my grandfather was a czarist, so points are only awarded for opposition to Bolshevism). To see such creepily mimicked images showing up in a US election chills me to the core; however, seeing the actual thinking show up in a US election is a bigger concern.
McCain was afraid to say the word “socialism” in the last debate. My guess is that he thought he would get blasted as a McCarthyist. Unfortunately, I think people are too oblivious to recognize “spread the wealth around” for what it is. In debate #2 I was shouting at one point that McCain should have responded to one of Obama’s answers calmly but with coldness, “Sen. Obama spoke for 2 minutes and used a lot of flowery words; however, my friends, let me give you the short version of what he said: ‘From each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs.’ Disgusting.” I think that might have knocked 0 for a loop or 2.
Anyway, here is my lame attempt to update Stalin in the Obama style. If the online translator functioned properly, the Cyrillic text on the poster is the word, ‘HOPE’ (my pop never taught us Russian - I guess working 14 hour days prevented that.)

Yes, motorcycle accident suck … especially when they’re caused by careless “others” and become unavoidable. I hit wet clay, about 50 yards of it, at 50mph on a rainy dark morning. Farmers taking the crops off and not cleaning off the road afterwards (illegal im Michigan). After several valiant attempts to keep the bike straight, it highsided (threw) me and then followed me down the road. I wear a kevlar/cordura riding suit and it took an extreme amount of punishment but did it’s job … no road rash. When I finally slid into the ditch, the goldwing caught up to me, and the trunk impacted my chest and broke 4 ribs, collapsed my right lung, and fractured the L5 vertebra. 35 years of safe riding gone in a skid! I seem to be healing well, but the hematoma on my hip (where I impacted the road) seems to be wanting to stick around. I just returned from the doc’s where he pulled a quarter liter (250cc) of fluid out of it … that’s the second time in a week. But hell, I’m walking and managing to put in almost full days at work (even though the docs haven’t released me yet ). Thanks for the welcome … the one unbearable thing about a week in the hospital was no Rachel Lucas and Crew! All I could do was swear at the news on TV.
